A busker plays an acoustic guitar in the market carpark.
The short version

No stall fee. No fuss.

We don't expect buskers to hire a stall. Just turn up with your instrument and find one of our organisers to say hello — we'll show you where to set up.

A quick heads-up on a handful of things that matter on the day 👇

What to know

A few simple rules.

These keep things fair for every busker and kind to our stallholders.

Check in first

Please find one of the organisers before you set up — they'll point you to a good spot and make sure you're not too close to another performer.

Mind the volume

Stallholders are here to sell and shoppers are here to shop. Your music shouldn't be so loud that people can't hear each other — our volunteers may ask you to turn it down.

No power available

Acoustic sets, please. There's no mains power on-site — batteries only for amps and loopers.

Share the time

If you see another busker looking for a spot and you've been playing for over an hour, please take a break and let them have a go.

Keep what you earn

We don't take a cut. What lands in your hat, case or bucket is yours to keep.

Family-friendly please

It's a family market — we know you'll pick a set that works for a Sunday morning crowd of all ages.

Come play

We'd love to hear you on Sunday.

Just show up between 7–11am, find an organiser, and start playing. If you'd like to let us know you're coming, drop us a line.
